These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the LoveCo mobile application ("App") operated by LoveCo ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The App is designed for couples aged 18 and older.

2. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

3. Couple Pairing

The App allows you to pair with one partner using a unique pairing code. By pairing with another user, you consent to sharing your heartbeats, moods, habits, plans, daily question answers, game responses, and other couple data with that partner. You can unpair at any time through the App's settings.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited features, including up to 3 heartbeats per day, 3 habits, 3 tasks, 2 plans, 2 memories, and basic widgets.

LoveCo Gold Subscription

LoveCo Gold is an optional premium subscription that unlocks unlimited heartbeats, habits, plans, memories, all widget styles, premium drawing tools, and every couple game. Subscription options include:

2-for-1 Model

When one partner subscribes to LoveCo Gold, the premium benefits are automatically shared with the paired partner at no additional cost. If the subscribing partner cancels, both partners revert to the free tier.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

Free Trial

If offered, a free trial period will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including heartbeats (drawings, photos, and messages), text, and uploaded photos ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you and your partner.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by LoveCo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written consent.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through Apple's subscription management.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any relationship advice or outcomes resulting from use of the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoveCo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LoveCo harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another user.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
